Our School Theme

Engineering and Design

Julien's school theme and focus is on using the Engineering and Design process when solving problems.  The Engineering and Design Process is an iterative process where students work collaboratively together to ask, imagine, plan, create, and improve their practice and understanding of learned concepts.  New this year to begin year one of implementation is a fully supplied science lab that was funded through LCAP's Theme Budget.  As the year progresses talk to your student(s) about their understanding of the process and what they have learned while using it.
